Job Title: Database Tester (Migration Program)

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Location: Pune / Hyderabad / Chennai

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Database Tester with expertise in Database Migration Programs and QA Functional Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database testing within an Azure environment, strong PL/SQL skills, and a solid understanding of database migration processes. Experience with load testing and knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, and Kafka will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform database testing for migration programs to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.

- Execute functional (UI) testing to validate application functionality and business requirements.

- Validate data migration using migration tools and perform reconciliation between source and target databases.

- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for database and application testing.

- Write and execute complex PL/SQL queries for data validation and defect analysis.

- Identify, track, and report defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

- Participate in test planning, execution, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery in an Azure environment.

- Support performance and load testing activities where required.

Must Have Skills:

- Strong experience in QA and Database Testing.

- Hands-on experience in Database Migration Programs.

- Strong experience in QA Functional Testing (UI Testing).

- Experience working in an Azure environment.

- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, including writing complex queries and data validation.

Good to Have Skills:

- Experience in Load Testing.

- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, and Kafka.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
