Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for Java-based desktop applications.

- Create and maintain automation scripts using Squish and JavaScript.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects while collaborating with developers for root cause analysis and resolution.

- Integrate automated test suites with GitLab CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

- Document test results, prepare test reports, and ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Continuously improve test automation frameworks, testing processes, and software quality.

- Work closely with cross-functional and international teams to deliver high-quality software releases.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Software Testing/QA Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing for Java-based desktop applications.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and automation frameworks such as Squish (preferred).

- Experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.

- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Verification & Validation, and QA methodologies.

- Experience with Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar automation tools is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of Python scripting is preferred.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in global teams.

- B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT), MCA, or M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT).

- ISTQB Foundation Certification is an added advantage.
