Sumanas Technologies - Senior Frontend Developer - React.js/Next.js

Job Summary :

We are looking for a talented Senior Front-End Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application. Working closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers, wireframes into code and ensure a seamless, responsive, and engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.

- Maintain and improve website or web application.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of applications.

- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)

- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library such as:

- React.js, Next.js, Vue.js,Redux Toolkit,

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services

- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development

- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with TypeScript

- Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

- SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques

- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
