Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Commodity Management (CM) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions for commodity trading, pricing, and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise across key SAP CM components, including Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE), Traders and Schedulers Workbench (TSW), SAP Global Trade Management (GTM), and SAP Commodity Trade Risk Management (CTRM).

This role requires strong cross-functional SAP integration knowledge and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP Commodity Management Expertise:

Serve as the SME for SAP CM, providing end-to-end ownership of solution design, configuration, and deployment.

Work extensively with :

a. Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE)

b. Traders and Schedulers Workbench (TSW)

c. SAP Global Trade Management (GTM)

d. SAP Commodity Trade Risk Management (CTRM)

Configure and optimize SAP CM and ACM (Agricultural Contract Management) functionalities to support complex trading and procurement processes.

2. Solution Design & Integration:

- Design and implement solutions integrating SAP CM/ACM with other SAP modules including :

a. SD (Sales & Distribution)

b. MM (Materials Management)

c. IS-OIL

d. Finance (FICO)

e. PP (Production Planning)

- Ensure seamless end-to-end process flows across commodity procurement, sales, logistics, pricing, and financial modules.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions adhering to industry best practices.

3. Commodity Pricing & Risk Management

- Implement pricing formulas, calculations, and market-based pricing models using SAP CPE.

- Configure risk exposure, contract management, and risk mitigation processes using SAP GTM/CTRM.

- Support traders, schedulers, and risk teams with operational insights and process enhancements.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with business stakeholders, domain experts, and functional consultants to gather and validate requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-module SAP teams (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, IS-OIL) to ensure integrated solution delivery.

- Serve as the primary liaison for business teams during workshops, UAT, and go-live phases.

5. Documentation, Testing & Support

- Prepare comprehensive functional specifications, configuration documents, and solution design artefacts.

- Lead integration testing, UAT cycles, and issue resolution.

- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements to enhance SAP CM capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Mandatory Technical Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with :

a. SAP CPE (Commodity Pricing Engine)

b. SAP TSW (Traders and Schedulers Workbench)

c. SAP GTM (Global Trade Management)

d. SAP CTRM (Commodity Trade Risk Management)

- Expertise in SAP CM and/or ACM processes and integrations.

- Proven experience integrating SAP CM/ACM with : SD, MM, FICO, PP, IS-OIL, and other relevant modules.

- Strong understanding of commodity trading, procurement, pricing, logistics, and risk management workflows.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience working with agricultural and commodity supply chain solutions.

- Exposure to stakeholder and vendor management in global environments.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

- Ability to collaborate and guide cross-functional teams.
