Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Cloud Advisory Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive cloud-led business transformation initiatives.

This role involves engaging with enterprise clients to define cloud strategies, assess technology landscapes, and architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments that deliver measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to guide clients through their cloud adoption and modernization journeys.

Key Responsibilities :

- Engage with client stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and desired outcomes through Cloud and AI enablement.

- Lead cloud advisory engagements covering Cloud/Data Architecture, Industry Cloud strategies, M&A (Mergers & Divestitures), Operating Model Transformation, and Ecosystem Integration.

- Assess existing IT landscapes to determine suitability for cloud-led transformation, including application migration and modernization.

- Guide the selection of cloud platforms and tools, providing a clear path toward hybrid/multi-cloud adoption.

- Design distributed and hybrid cloud architectures aligned with scalability, security, compliance, and performance requirements.

- Develop end-to-end implementation roadmaps including cloud adoption strategy, target operating models, and transformation programs.

- Conduct cost optimization and FinOps assessments to maximize value from cloud investments.

- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards (e.g, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).

- Provide thought leadership, training, and enablement sessions on cloud-native technologies and best practices.

- Maintain long-term relationships with client stakeholders and identify new advisory opportunities.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

- At least one Advanced Cloud Certification (e.g, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional,

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Experience :

- 12-16 years of total IT experience, with 6+ years in cloud advisory, solutioning, or delivery.

- Demonstrated experience in cloud-led transformation engagements, including application modernization, infrastructure migration, and digital operating model design.

- Understanding of enterprise business processes across industries.

- Experience with post-merger/divestiture IT integration and separation strategies.

- Familiarity with data availability, governance, and AI enablement strategies.

Technical Skills :

Expertise in one or more of the following technology domains :

- Hybrid cloud solutions (e.g, Azure Arc, Anthos, VMware Cloud)

- Distributed cloud architecture design

- Microservices and serverless architectures (e.g, AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)

- API Management & Integration (e.g, Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management)

- Application refactoring, replatforming, rehosting strategies

- Container orchestration (e.g, Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, AKS, GKE)

- Cloud-native development tools and patterns

- DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)

- Automation tools (e.g, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

- Cloud security frameworks and tools (e.g, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center)

- Identity and Access Management (IAM), data encryption, governance policies

- Cloud cost management platforms (e.g, AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth)

- FinOps strategies for budgeting, cost visibility, and chargebacks
