Role : AquaSec SME

Responsibilities :

- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the AquaSec platform, possessing in-depth knowledge of its features, functionalities, and best practices for configuration and utilization within AKS

- Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the AquaSec platform to provide comprehensive container security, including vulnerability scanning, runtime protection, admission control, and compliance monitoring.

- Develop and maintain AquaSec policies and rulesets to effectively detect and prevent security threats and enforce compliance standards within our AKS clusters

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the AquaSec platform and its integration with AKS

- Stay up-to-date with the latest AquaSec features, updates, and security advisories, and proactively implement relevant enhancements

- Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud-native applications and infrastructure

- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and processes

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues in containerized environments

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to document technical designs, security policies, and procedures clearly and concisely.

Skills :

- 7-9 of relevant experience on Security platoform

- Hands on exprience with Kubernetes security

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including cluster deployment, management, security configuration, networking, and scaling.

- Thorough understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, container, etc.) and container security principles

- Solid understanding of Kubernetes security concepts, including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, admission controllers, and security contexts

- Practical experience with Azure security services relevant to AKS, such as Azure Security Center/Defender for Containers, Azure AD, Azure Network Security Groups, and Azure Firewall.
