We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer with strong expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-based analytics platform. You will work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Data teams to validate complex business workflows, automate end-to-end testing, and contribute to delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Manual Testing :

- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory testing.

- Validate complex business workflows, data transformations, and analytics results.

- Test REST APIs and backend services using tools such as Postman or Playwright API.

- Log, track, and verify defects while collaborating closely with developers for timely resolution.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation.

Automation Testing :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web UI and End-to-End testing.

- Build automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver (Java) and/or Playwright (TypeScript).

- Automate REST API testing using Playwright API, Postman/Newman, or similar API automation frameworks.

- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.

- Improve automation coverage, reduce flaky tests, and optimize execution time.

- Support continuous quality initiatives across multiple releases.

Quality Engineering :

- Contribute to QA strategy, test planning, and release readiness.

- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous process improvements.

- Prepare and manage test data, environments, and quality metrics.

- Promote best practices in test automation, quality assurance, and Agile development.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.

- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Selenium WebDriver (Java)

2. Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript)

- Experience in Web Application and API Testing.

- Good understanding of REST APIs using Postman, Playwright API, or similar tools.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

- Experience testing data-intensive or analytics-driven applications is a strong advantage.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with performance or load testing tools (JMeter, k6, etc.).

- Exposure to Docker and containerized applications.

- Knowledge of test reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports.

- Experience working in Financial Services, Asset management Services.

- Basic understanding of AI-enabled applications or data engineering workflows.
