We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making, build predictive models, and lead AI/ML initiatives across the organization.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytics solutions, mentoring a team of data scientists, and collaborating with business stakeholders to solve high-impact problems using data.

This role requires deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, data engineering, and business acumen, along with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end development of AI/ML models, from data collection and cleaning to feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and deployment.

- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers.

- Drive adoption of best practices in data science, modeling, and experimentation.

- Develop predictive, prescriptive, and classification models to solve complex business problems.

- Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data exploration to identify key trends and insights.

- Leverage techniques including regression, clustering, NLP, computer vision, time series analysis, and deep learning.

- Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and engineers to define analytics requirements and prioritize projects.

- Translate business problems into data science solutions and communicate results in a clear, actionable manner.

- Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure availability of clean, structured, and high-quality data.

- Deploy models into production using appropriate tools and frameworks.

- Monitor, maintain, and improve model performance and reliability over time.

- Implement scalable machine learning pipelines and workflows.

- Stay updated with the latest research, algorithms, and industry trends in AI/ML and data science.

- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve data science productivity and capabilities.

- Drive automation, reproducibility, and efficiency in data science workflows.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 5-7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.

- Strong expertise in Python, R, or Scala, and relevant ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.

- Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

- Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML deployment frameworks.

- Strong understanding of statistical methods, experimental design, and hypothesis testing
