Storage Engineer - Veritas Netbackup

What you will be doing :

- Storage Product Engineering, Platform Administration and Support :

- Create and configure Storage instances

- Onboard New Storage products

- Create and configure Storage on Azure / GCP platform.

- Implement security measures and governance policies.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using tools like PowerShell, azure cli, ARM templates.

- Manage Storage pipelines for Storage deployments using platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

- Co-ordinate with application teams to ensure the infrastructure is with the latest maintenance level.

- Perform upgrades and patching

- Ingest monitoring metrics to Grafana dashboard

- Install certs, upgrade certs via key vault

Main responsibilities

What we are searching for:

- Azure and Google Cloud Storage Platform (Multi Cloud experience is a plus)

- Expertise in deploying and managing Storage Platform / products

- Storage Engineering of Azure and Google Cloud Storages

- Setting up and managing SoftNAS Platform

- Setting up and managing Commvault Platform for Backups / Recovery

- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Ability to monitor Storage performance and resolve issues

- Security Management: Implementing and managing security measures to protect data across various Storages

- Backup and Recovery: Setting up and managing backup and recovery processes for all Storage types

- Expertise in Storage High Availability and Disaster Recovery

- Expertise in Storage Network Management

- Ability to analyze and onboard new Storage products by setting up the standards and documentation

- Documentation of Storage standards and playbooks

- Expertise in Storage Access Management

Automation :

- Experience in automating Storage deployments and management

Skills :

- GitHub Actions, yml scripting, shell scripts, python, Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, ServiceNOW integration with GitHub Workflow, Azure CLI, Google Cloud CLI.

- UNIX shell scripting experience is a plus

- Base knowledge of networking (TCP / IP)

- Ability to analyze and onboard new Storage products by setting up the standards and documentation

- Azure certifications is a plus (az-900, az-104, etc.)
