Storage Backup Administrator

Job Location : Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Notice Period : Immediate to 60 days

Working Days : 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) candidate will be deployed at the customer location

Hitachi and NEtapp storage experience along with SAN switch exp.

Netapp / Hitachi /Brocade switch / IBM storage / HP storage

Key Responsibilities of SME :

- Manage and maintain storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.

- Monitor storage performance and capacity to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect data and ensure business continuity.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement storage solutions that meet business requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner.

- Evaluate new storage technologies and make recommendations for implementation.

- Create and maintain documentation related to storage infrastructure and processes.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Experience with storage technologies such as EMC, NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., EMC Proven Professional, NetApp Certified Data Administrator) are a plus.

- Fair knowledge of Vmware suite.

Qualification and Experience Required :

- BE/Btech with 10+ years of exp and any OEM certified in storage box like HP, Netapp, IBM, Hitachi.
