Stibo STEP MDM Architect

Job Description :

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Stibo STEP MDM Architect to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level master data management (MDM) initiatives leveraging the Stibo STEP platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in MDM architecture, data modeling, systems integration, and cloud-based solutions, and will play a key role in shaping and delivering scalable, high-performance MDM solutions across multi-domain environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architectural design, development, and deployment of Stibo STEP MDM solutions.

- Develop and implement MDM strategies and best practices aligned with business objectives.

- Design robust, scalable data models including taxonomies, metadata structures, hierarchies, and complex relationships between master data entities.

- Ensure seamless integration of STEP with external systems through APIs, data mapping, and ETL processes using integration technologies.

- Translate complex technical requirements into functional design and architecture documentation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, data stewards, and business analysts to understand data governance and quality needs.

- Guide cross-functional teams in agile development environments to ensure timely and quality delivery of MDM capabilities.

- Provide subject matter expertise and leadership on STEP configuration, workflows, user interface design, and data governance workflows.

- Establish and enforce architectural standards, including cloud architecture principles, data privacy, security, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8 to 15 years of experience in data architecture and MDM, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Stibo STEP.

- Strong understanding of multi-domain MDM principles, including customer, product, supplier, and location data domains.

- Expertise in data modeling and taxonomy design, with the ability to define and manage relationships across disparate data sources.

- Deep knowledge of integration technologies such as APIs (REST/GraphQL), web services, and messaging frameworks.

- Proficient in Java, XML/XSLT, JSON, JavaScript, and ReactJS, with the ability to customize STEP components and interfaces.

- Experience with GraphQL and modern API development and consumption patterns.

- Good understanding of system design principles, enterprise cloud architecture, and microservices-based architecture.

- Proven experience in working with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and continuous delivery frameworks.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into business language.

- STEP training and certification is highly preferred, especially if backed by successful project implementations.
