A Cloud Engineer supports the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and reliable. They assist in troubleshooting, automation, and daytoday operations while collaborating with senior engineers to implement best practices.

The Cloud Engineer will complement the team by bringing knowledge of operating systems administration, automation, coding and scripting, and deployments of our workloads in the cloud.

Responsibilities :

- Maintain and improve the company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring that availability, security, and

performance SLAs for SaaS offerings are met or exceeded.

- Provide on-call, after-hours support of cloud infrastructure on a rotating schedule.

- Collaborate with senior engineers to follow best practices for cloud architecture and security.

- Participate in routine maintenance tasks, updates, and patching of cloud resources.

- Automate infrastructure and configuration management using infrastructure as code (Terraform) and other scripting technologies such as PowerShell.

- Enhance security, observability, and monitoring capabilities of our cloud workloads.

- Participate in retrospectives of production infrastructure incidents.

- Contribute to collection of data for the organizations security audits and risk assessments.

- Assist with vulnerability scans and penetration tests for internal and client systems and remediation of any potential security risks identified.

- Document configurations, procedures, and changes to maintain accurate technical records.

- Contribute to cost optimization efforts by analyzing resource usage and recommending improvements.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 years of experience working with Azure Cloud.

- Background in software development, DevSecOps, or site reliability engineering.

- Experience with deployment pipeline automation tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

- Proficiency with infrastructure as code, particularly Hashicorp Terraform.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL.

- Familiarity with Windows systems administration.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience with the following Azure services : App Services, Container Apps, Front Door, App Gateway, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines.- Azure certifications are a plus.

- B.S. in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
