Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team, with a primary focus on Manual Testing and a secondary focus on Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Wealth Management domain, experience working with complex financial applications, and a passion for ensuring product quality.

You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing test cases, executing manual tests, and contributing to the automation framework and scripts where required.

Key Responsibilities :

Manual Testing (Primary Responsibility) :

- Understand business requirements and functional specifications in the wealth management domain (portfolio management, asset allocation, trading, client onboarding, etc.).

- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and system testing of web and mobile-based wealth management applications.

- Validate data consistency and accuracy across frontend, backend, and reports.

- Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to clarify requirements and improve quality.

- Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover potential issues.

Automation Testing (Secondary Responsibility) :

- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts (Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent).

- Contribute to building automation for critical regression scenarios.

- Execute automated test cases and analyze test results.

- Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to integrate automated tests into the pipeline.

- Raise automation coverage gradually for high-impact areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in QA Testing with a strong focus on manual testing.

- Experience in Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services domain is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.

- Familiarity with SQL for backend data validation.

- Good understanding of automation concepts; hands-on with tools like Selenium, TestNG, Java/Python, or Cypress is a plus.

- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

- Knowledge of wealth management platforms like Charles River, Avaloq, Temenos, or similar is a strong advantage.

- Experience in testing client portals, advisory platforms, financial dashboards, risk and compliance tools.

Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
