Job Summary :

- We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud migrations, infrastructure optimization, and implementing best practices for secure and scalable Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage end-to-end cloud migration projects from on-prem to Azure.

- Build and manage greenfield and GR (golden reference) environments following infrastructure best practices.

- Define and implement robust Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) beyond basic configurations.

- Evaluate and design cloud architecture solutions to meet business needs.

- Implement PaaS services effectively for application modernization and scalability.

- Perform post-migration optimization to improve performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

- Proactively debug and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues.

- Handle live environment changes with proper impact assessment and rollback strategies.

- Design and deploy infrastructure using Terraform with best practices in code modularity and automation.

- Select appropriate CIDR ranges for networking and ensure clean IP addressing strategies.

- Set up and maintain on-prem to Azure connectivity using VPNs, ExpressRoute, or other hybrid connectivity solutions.

- Apply in-depth knowledge of networking concepts including VNETs, subnets, NSGs, firewalls, and routing.

- Collaborate with security, DevOps, and development teams to ensure secure and performant cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Microsoft Azure.

- Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Fundamentals and services.

- Demonstrated experience with cloud migration projects and associated tooling.

- Proficient in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.

- Deep understanding of ASR, DR strategy planning, and high availability configurations.

- Hands-on experience with PaaS offerings, Azure networking, and connectivity solutions.

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across networking, compute, and services.

- Familiarity with CIDR, DNS, firewalls, NSGs, and route tables.

- Experience with monitoring tools and logging solutions in Azure.

- Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Kafka in a cloud context is a plus.

- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400).

- Background in SRE or DevOps will be a plus.

- Experience in environments with 24/7 support or high availability requirements.
