The Job :

As a Firmware Testing Engineer, youll be part of our SAT team working as a hybrid employee.

Youll get to :

- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and testcases for complex projects.

- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using tools like Jira.

- Monitor debugging process results.

- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.

- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools and implement in complete scope of project.

- Create and implement Test process and Continuous Improvement plans.

You also have :

- Testing firmware in Embedded C for embedded devices, embedded applications using a Realtime Operating System.

- Strong knowledge of software validation methodologies.

- Working knowledge of CAN, I2C, UART, SPI, and networking protocols, including TCP and UDP.

- Experience working on Microcontroller/Motor Controller using Java Scripting/Python/HTML.

- Experience with project tracking tools like Jira, GitHub/Microsoft TFS/Azure.

- Good experience on Kiel compiler is good to have.

- Knowledge of validation tools and test equipment like logic analyzer, Oscilloscope, simulation software is good to have.
