Job Title : Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale modern web platforms in an AI-first engineering environment. This role requires deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud-native architectures, and software design principles, along with the ability to influence technical standards and mentor teams.

You will play a key role in driving architectural decisions, ensuring code quality and security, and delivering high-impact systems that power real business outcomes.

Mandatory Tech Stack :

Frontend: React.js (Next.js preferred), TypeScript

Backend: Node.js

Cloud: AWS or Azure

Core Concepts: OOP, design principles, secure coding practices

APIs: REST and/or GraphQL

Essential Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering

- Strong expertise in React.js (with Next.js experience preferred) and TypeScript

- Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system design

- Strong experience in API design and development (REST and/or GraphQL)

- Proven experience working with AWS or Azure in production environments

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and applying modern DevOps practices

- Strong focus on security, performance, and reliability

Core Expertise :

- Web engineering with emphasis on accessible, performant, and scalable UI development

- Strong testing mindset, including TDD/BDD, unit, integration, end-to-end, and contract testing

- Observability-first approach using metrics, logs, and distributed traces (OpenTelemetry mindset)

- Experience reviewing, validating, and improving AI-generated code to meet production standards

Preferred / Nice to Have :

- Experience with event-driven and asynchronous systems (Kafka, Azure Event Hub)

- Caching and performance optimization using Redis, CDN, and edge computing

- Databases: PostgreSQL, Aurora, pragmatic NoSQL usage, data modeling, and migrations

- Cloud & Infrastructure as Code: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Bicep

- AI feature delivery experience: structured outputs, RAG, agentic patterns, evaluation frameworks
