We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Staff SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with 8-12 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level expert in both manual and automated testing, with a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our products by leading testing efforts, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enforce best practices. This is a crucial role for a self-driven professional who wants to make a significant impact on product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation & Framework Management :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for both functional and non-functional requirements.

- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium and Cypress, with a focus on scalability and reliability.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Review and analyze system specifications to identify comprehensive test cases and scenarios.

- Conduct thorough testing across different browsers, platforms, and devices to ensure wide-ranging compatibility.

- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Defect Management & Troubleshooting :

- Identify, document, and track software defects from initial discovery to timely resolution.

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex defects in the test environment and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Process & Collaboration :

- Proactively monitor and enhance testing processes, suggesting improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure that all aspects of software quality are covered from the very beginning.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to enhance the overall quality and performance of the product.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 8+ years of strong professional experience in software testing, covering both manual and automated methodologies.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Deep proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress.

- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG.

- Expertise in programming languages such as Java or Python.

- Strong experience with API testing (REST, SOAP) and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
