About the Role:

We are looking for highly experienced Staff Engineers / Senior Staff Engineers to join our engineering team and drive the design, development, and evolution of highly scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on backend engineer with deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, microservices, scalable architecture, and software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and evolve highly scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.

- Drive architecture and technical design for complex products, platforms, and services.

- Own and deliver critical technical initiatives from design through implementation and production deployment.

- Lead the development of distributed systems and microservices-based architectures.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers across multiple teams.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.

- Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, design principles, and development processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10-15 years of experience in software / backend engineering, with significant experience in designing and building large-scale systems.

- Strong hands-on expertise in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or similar technologies.

- Extensive experience with System Design and Distributed Systems.

- Strong experience designing and developing microservices-based architectures.

- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, caching, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.

- Experience working with cloud platforms and modern cloud-native technologies.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
