Staff Engineer - Java

Role Overview :

Own and scale high-performance backend systems handling massive data & transactions. This is a core architecture role, not just feature development.

Scope :

- Own core backend systems end-to-end (scale, reliability, performance)

- Design & build distributed microservices architectures

- Drive system performance, observability & scalability

- Solve complex system design & DSA-heavy problems

- Mentor engineers & influence engineering standards

Must Have :

- 9 to 12 years in Backend Engineering (Java + Microservices)

- Strong DSA, System Design & Architecture ownership

- Experience building large-scale distributed systems

- Hands-on with MySQL/NoSQL, REST/gRPC, CI/CD

- Exposure to AWS/GCP + high-scale production systems

- Prior role as SDE3 / Tech Lead / Lead Engineer
