Role Overview :

We are looking for a Staff Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot to provide technical leadership across backend systems, architecture, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot

- Own system architecture and technical design decisions

- Lead and mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions

- Design and optimise database schemas and queries using MySQL and PostgreSQL

- Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

- Drive coding standards, engineering best practices, testing, and technical quality

- Identify and resolve technical issues and production incidents

Tech Stack & Requirements :

- 5 to 10 years of software engineering experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot

- Experience in Microservices and REST API development

- Strong knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems

- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure

- Experience mentoring or leading engineers

- Strong understanding of scalable and enterprise-grade backend systems
