We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to create reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.

- Collaborate with the development team to understand product architecture and features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate product quality.

- Investigate and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and document defects effectively.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of the codebase.

- Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and suggesting improvements to the testing process.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum of 3 year of experience as an SDET or a similar role in software testing and automation.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Basic knowledge of SQL or other databases for data validation and testing.
