Job Description :
Key Accountabilities :
- Collaboration with delivery teams to resolve performance defects.
- Delivery of all test artefacts including Test Plan, Progress Reports, and Test Summary Reports to certify Releases to Production.
- Active participation in performance risk identification (business and technical impact) and mitigation actions, establishment of performance NFRs and benchmarks.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, services, and technology to effectively communicate and bridge the performance gap between business and technical teams.
- Drive and define performance testing strategy, process, and tools for efficient and effective Program delivery, and to align with industry standards.
- Build and optimize automated performance test pipelines to reduce cost & increase coverage.
- Ownership of test environment and capacity planning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional, multi-region team located in AU and India.
- Flexibility to attend meetings/workshop at reasonable overlapped hours.
Technical Skills :
- 10+ years in performance test engineering role which includes microservices and cloud-based technology.
- Preferred experience within superannuation, wealth management or other financial services.
- Mastery of Performance Test Tools :
- Knowledge of scripting languages and the ability to write code for test automation.
- Mandatory : Microfocus LoadRunner HTTP Protocol C coding + manual correlation.
- Desirable : JMeter, Gatling, K6 etc.
- Database languages : MS SQL, Postgres.
- Monitoring and Analysis : Mandatory : LoadRunner Analysis.
- Desirable : Microsoft perfmon, Grafana.
- Strong understanding and hands-on technology experience with the following :
- Operating System : Windows Server, Database : SQL Server 2019+, Application Development Platforms : .NET.
- Cloud-based : Microservices : architecture, principles, and best practices.
- Kubernetes : Container orchestration and management, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate performance testing into the CI/CD process.
- Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA.
- Proficiency with version control GIT.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments where rapid iterations and continuous improvement are practiced.
Education and qualification :
