Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager Business Systems Analysis to lead our team of Business Systems Analysts.
This role involves overseeing the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems solutions within the financial technology domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Systems Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle, from requirements gathering and documentation to system testing and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate complex business needs into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
- Define and document use cases, user stories, process flows, and data models.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit, validate, and prioritize requirements.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Develop and implement best practices for business systems analysis, promoting standardization and continuous improvement.
- Participate in system design discussions and provide input on technical solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Support the QA team in developing test plans and strategies, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned business domains and systems.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on project status and potential risks.
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience within the financial technology (Fintech) sector is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Expertise in requirements gathering techniques, process modeling (e.g., BPMN), and data modeling.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMP are a plus.
