SQL Developer - Production Support

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support business applications.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to SQL databases and Python applications in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy fixes and improvements in production environments.

- Analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity and security.

- Provide production support for Python-based automation tools, ETL jobs, and data pipelines.

- Document incident resolution steps and maintain knowledge base articles.

- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when required.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SQL development and production support.

- Strong proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Hands-on experience in Python scripting and supporting Python-based production systems.

- Familiarity with database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of production issues.

- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools is a plus.

- Understanding of version control systems like Git.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud-based databases and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management systems
