SQL Developer - Database Solutions

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our team in Bhopal, M. The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions, ensuring data accuracy, optimizing database performance, and supporting business applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL development, database design, stored procedures, and performance tuning, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, schemas, tables, views, and indexes.

- Create complex stored procedures, triggers, functions, and scripts to support business requirements.

- Ensure database designs are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Data Management & Optimization :

- Perform query tuning and performance optimization using execution plans and indexes.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across multiple systems.

- Implement data backup, recovery, and security best practices.

Collaboration & Support :

- Support data migration, ETL processes, and integration with third-party applications.

- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

Documentation & Standards :

- Document database structures, processes, and procedures.

- Follow organizational standards for database development, testing, and deployment.

- Contribute to improving database governance and compliance practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3- 6 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer (or similar role).

- Strong expertise in MS SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL (as per organizational use).

- Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts, normalization, and indexing strategies.

- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and database profiling.

- Knowledge of ETL processes and integration tools.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SSRS/SSIS/SSAS or other reporting/BI tools.

- Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in teams
