About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled SQL Developer with ETL Process & Data Quality (DQ) expertise, who can deep-dive into complex SQL stored procedures, ETL pipelines, and data workflows to identify issues, debug root causes, and ensure high-quality, reliable data.


Key Responsibilities :


- Review, analyze, and optimize complex MS SQL stored procedures, views, functions, and scripts.


- Perform end-to-end analysis of ETL/ELT processes, identify breakpoints, and work with engineering teams to fix defects.


- Investigate and debug data gaps, mismatches, missing records, incorrect values, and pipeline failures.


- Conduct Data Quality checks, audits, and validation across multiple systems.


- Perform data profiling, lineage tracing, and root-cause analysis for data issues.


- Support data teams in diagnosing invoicing data quality issues and other business-critical workflows.


- Implement and maintain DQ rules, data validation frameworks, and reconciliation logic.


- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to strengthen overall data governance and data accuracy.


Skills & Experience Required :


- 6+ years of strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server.


- Advanced proficiency in :


1. Writing and reviewing complex SQL stored procedures


2. Performance tuning, debugging, query optimization


3. Handling large data sets


- Strong understanding of ETL workflows, job failures, and debugging techniques.


- Experience with Data Quality, Data Profiling, and Data Validation.


- Good understanding of data lineage, metadata, and data governance concepts.


- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to investigate complex data discrepancies.


- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.


- Experience in invoicing, financial, or transactional data workflows (preferred)
