About the Role :

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to drive testing strategy and execution across our products. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products are bug-free, robust, and deliver exceptional user experiences across platforms. You will work directly with founders and cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable testing frameworks for mobile, web, and backend services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review software requirements and create detailed test plans and scenarios.

- Execute manual and automated tests across mobile and web platforms.

- Analyze results and debug issues related to APIs, databases, and UI/UX.

- Prepare reports on test coverage, bug trends, and product stability.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and edge cases.

- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and stability.

- Design and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

- Identify gaps in testing coverage and implement high-ROI automation solutions.

- Conduct functional, performance, load, and end-to-end testing initiatives.

- Enable analytics, instrumentation, and monitoring for better debugging and observability.

- Take part in agile ceremonies to refine, estimate, and validate product features.

- Contribute to scalable quality engineering practices across the company.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Education & Experience :

BTech/BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

35 years of experience in Software Testing, with a focus on automation.

Technical Expertise :

- Experience in cross-browser, responsive, and mobile device testing.

- Tools : Appium, Espresso, Robolectric, ADB, Visual Testing tools like Applitools, Percy, BrowserStack.

- Proficient in API testing using Postman or JMeter (Load, Performance, Benchmarking).

- Strong command over Selenium and automation scripting.

- Understanding of TDD and test case documentation.

- Ability to debug stack traces and logs from Firebase and other dashboards.

- Familiarity with A/B testing and remote configuration-based testing.

- Experience testing across Android and iOS versions for pixel-perfect UI.

- Hands-on with basic SQL for backend validation.

- Knowledge of CI/CD and agile testing methodologies.

- Ability to independently identify, prioritize, and execute test plans.
