Spotline - SAP ABAP Developer - Implementation & Support

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, with significant hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and multi-modular implementations across various SAP modules such as Production Planning (PP), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Materials Management (MM), and Finance & Controlling (FICO). This is a full-time, onsite position requiring a local consultant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable SAP ABAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Participate in and contribute to at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, from blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Develop and maintain various ABAP objects including :

- Reports: Classical, Interactive, ALV Reports.

- Module Pools: Screen programming for custom transactions.

- Smart Forms: Design and develop output forms.

- Workflows: Implement and enhance SAP Business Workflows.

- Enhancements: User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, and new enhancement framework.

- Interfaces: Develop interfaces using various techniques (e.g., RFC, BAPI, IDocs, OData).

- Classes and Function Modules: Develop reusable ABAP objects.

- Ensure the quality of developed solutions through rigorous testing, debugging, and adherence to coding standards.

- Work effectively within an Agile Software Development methodology, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing SAP ABAP applications.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.

- Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA development.

- Demonstrable experience in multi-modular SAP implementations, specifically with modules like PP, EWM, MM, and FICO.

- Completed at least 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.

- Mandatory: Possess relevant SAP Developer Certifications.

- Extensive experience with ABAP development objects including Smart Forms, Workflows, Reports, Module Pools, Enhancements, User Exits, Interfaces, Classes, and Function Modules.

- Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (A Plus) :

- Experience with HANA data modeling and CDS (Core Data Services) views.

- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development, including Business Application Studio, Integration Suite, or UI5/Fiori development.
