Spinny - Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer.

Department : Engineering.

Reports To : Engineering Manager.

About the Role :

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or Google Cloud.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Monitor system performance, security, and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

- Automate system provisioning, scaling, and configuration management.

- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable deployments.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Enhance security and compliance by implementing best practices for cloud and container security.

- Optimize cost management and resource utilization for cloud services.

- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to best practices and documentation.

Required Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.

- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.

- Understanding of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with service mesh tools like Istio or Linkerd.

- Knowledge of database management and scaling strategies.

- Experience with cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.
