Sphere Global Solutions - Network Engineer - VPN Support

Position : Network Engineer.

Location : Flexible (Fluency in French & English required).

Overview :

Sphere Global Solutions is seeking two experienced Network Engineers to support our customer with a large-scale VPN deployment project.

The engineers will work directly with the customers Network Manager to configure customer-side IPSec VPN tunnels, ensuring secure connectivity for approximately 200 customer environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure ~200 customer-side IPSec VPN tunnels in alignment with requirements.

- Focus exclusively on the customer side configuration.

- Liaise with third-party providers, where the end customer lacks internal IT resources, to ensure smooth implementation.

- Work closely with the customers Network Manager, providing updates, status reporting, and technical guidance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity or configuration issues during the deployment phase.

- Document configuration details, escalation paths, and handover notes for operational continuity.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven, hands-on expertise in configuring IPSec VPN tunnels.

- Strong knowledge of VPN concepts, encryption protocols, and secure networking practices.

- Experience liaising with both end customers and third-party IT providers.

- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).

- Ability to work independently while aligning with customer processes.

- Previous experience in customer-facing projects preferred.

Engagement Details :

- Engineers will be dedicated solely to the VPN access setup project.
