The ideal candidate will contribute across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), working in an Agile environment while delivering high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code.

This role also involves production support, API development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop application components independently using Java and modern frameworks

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following software craftsmanship principles

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)

- Deliver across all phases of the SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:

- Define and implement APIs

- Establish data access rules and standards

- Ensure timely communication with stakeholders and business teams

- Identify and address production improvement areas and recurring issues

- Perform daily system checks and maintain production standards

- Contribute to automation of repetitive production tasks

- Execute release validations, ensuring bug-free deployments

- Generate metrics, test reports, and defect analysis

- Assist in defining and enforcing development guidelines and best practices

- Provide L2/L3 production support when required

- Improve data model coverage, metadata management, and data pipeline standards

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8+)

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot (APIs, Microservices)

- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6)

- Experience with React (Frontend development)

- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and querying

Experience with :

- GitHub (code versioning & collaboration)

- Jenkins (CI/CD, release management)

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of HTML & CSS

- Experience with Shell Scripting

- Familiarity with Java 17

- Exposure to SonarQube (code quality monitoring)

- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes (containerization & deployment)
