Position : Specialist - Siebel EIM
Location : Bengaluru
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Specialist - Siebel EIM to join our communication sector team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with deep expertise in Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM).
This role is crucial for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data integration solutions using a robust technical stack that includes PL/SQL, Oracle databases, and UNIX/Linux scripting to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality enterprise application integration.
Key Responsibilities :
Siebel EIM Development : Design, develop, and maintain complex Siebel EIM jobs for large-scale enterprise data integration projects.
Troubleshooting and Optimization : Analyze, debug, and optimize complex EIM processes to improve performance and efficiency. You will be responsible for resolving data integrity and integration-related issues.
PL/SQL Programming : Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages using PL/SQL to support EIM processes and other data integration requirements.
Scripting and Automation : Write and maintain UNIX/Linux Shell scripts for the automation of data processing, job scheduling, and file management.
Database Management : Work with Oracle databases (12c-19c) for data migration, integration activities, and database-level scripting.
Data Loading : Utilize technical tools like SQL Loader, Control files, and IFB files to manage and execute Siebel data loads efficiently.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with functional and business teams to ensure data accuracy, validate integration quality, and meet project deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong, hands-on development experience with Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM).
- In-depth knowledge of the Siebel Data Model and Siebel Data Mapping principles.
- Proven experience in analyzing, debugging, and writing complex EIM jobs.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including the use of procedures, cursors, triggers, functions, and packages.
- Experience with Oracle Database (12c to 19c).
- Strong skills in UNIX/Linux Shell scripting.
- Practical experience with SQL Loader, Control files, and IFB files for data loads.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of Perl Scripting.
- Experience in large-scale Siebel data migration or integration projects.
