About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing, with hands-on expertise in Snowflake. This role requires proficiency in Python, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and the ability to build scalable, high-performance data pipelines. Prior experience in the US healthcare domain will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows on Snowflake.
- Write complex SQL queries for data transformation, optimization, and analysis.
- Build and optimize data models and data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Develop Python scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and automation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other engineers to understand data requirements.
- Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL and Snowflake queries.
- Work with cloud technologies (AWS/GCP) for storage, compute, and integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 6+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in SQL, ETL, and data warehousing.
- Hands-on experience in Snowflake architecture, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have :
- Experience in the US healthcare domain (data compliance, HIPAA, EHR data).
- Familiarity with tools like Airflow, DBT, or Informatica for data orchestration.
- Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP or Snowflake) will be an added advantage.
