SP Software - Pega Developer - BPM Solutions

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer with strong expertise in Pega PRPC v7.x/v8.x and Pega frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in business process management (BPM), designing end-to-end process-based solutions, and delivering large-scale enterprise applications. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, hands-on expertise in Pega rules, and a passion for creating scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using Pega PRPC v7.x/v8.x and Pega frameworks.

- Create detailed requirement specifications and translate them into robust technical designs.

- Configure and customize Pega applications, including Flows, Activities, UI, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Security, Reports, Listeners, Connectors, Data Transforms, and Decision Rules.

- Ensure adherence to Pega best practices for reusability, performance, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to define business processes and technical requirements.

- Support modernization projects by migrating legacy systems into the Pega platform.

- Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Work in global offshore/onshore delivery models, ensuring smooth communication and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Pega PRPC application development.

- Strong expertise in Pega frameworks and BPM-based solutions.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in requirement analysis, architecture, and design detailing.

- In-depth knowledge of Pega rules and features including Flow, Activities, SLA, Security, Listeners, Connectors, and Reports.

- Hands-on experience in large system modernization projects using Pega.

- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.

- Exposure to working in Agile/Global delivery environments.

Nice to Have :

- Pega certifications such as CSA, CSSA, or CLSA.

- Experience integrating Pega with external systems using REST/SOAP services, MQ, or APIs.

- Knowledge of cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure).
