Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint on-premises environments.

The role involves managing and administering SharePoint Online at the tenant level, integrating with Microsoft 365 services, and ensuring data governance and security.

Key Responsibilities :

SharePoint Online Administration :

- Manage site collections at the tenant level.

- Design and implement hub site architectures.

- Utilize SPO Management Shell, PnP PowerShell module, and Microsoft Graph for tenant management.

- Oversee tenant-level external sharing and prevent oversharing.

- Administer and configure Microsoft Search and understand Microsoft Graph Search connectors.

- Integrate SharePoint Online with M365 Purview for data governance and information management.

- Implement data loss prevention, data retention, and sensitivity labels for SPO/ODFB.

- Manage Microsoft 365 backup and archive for SharePoint Online.

- Utilize SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) Add-on features and controls.

OneDrive for Business Administration::

- Understand GPO/Intune settings for managing the OneDrive for Business sync client.

- Migrate from on-premises home drives to OneDrive for Business.

- Apply best practices for the OneDrive for Business sync client.

Development and Integration :

- Understand the concepts of using SharePoint Framework (SPfX) and PowerShell with SharePoint.

- Integrate SharePoint Online and set up SharePoint Homesite integration.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in SharePoint Online Administration.

- Strong understanding of data governance and security practices including labeling and retention.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SharePoint Online services and integrations as well as SharePoint Server on premises.

- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
