Role Overview :

Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an expert-level Senior DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, secure, and optimize large-scale cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical financial and enterprise applications. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Azure, strong automation skills, and a strategic mindset toward modern DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native engineering. You will collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and compliance of cloud applications and platform ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

- Automate build, test, security scans, packaging, deployment, verification, and environment provisioning.

- Implement blue/green, canary, rolling, and ring-based deployment strategies for zero-downtime releases.

- Establish automated environment promotion from dev QA staging production.

- Design and optimize Azure-based infrastructure including App Services, AKS, Service Bus, API Management, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and Private Endpoints.

- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or Pulumi.

- Build scalable, high-availability architectures aligned with microservices and distributed systems.

- Implement strong identity and access controls, Azure policies, role-based access, and network security baselines.

- Integrate security scanning, SAST/DAST, dependency checks, and secrets management into CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure compliance with BFSI and enterprise governance standards, audit requirements, and data protection mandates.

- Build robust monitoring, logging, and observability systems using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk.

- Enable automated healing, scaling policies, alerting, runbooks, dashboards, and SRE best practices (SLIs/SLOs).

- Conduct root cause analysis, performance tuning, capacity planning, and resiliency engineering.

- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Go.

- Manage containerization, image pipelines, and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

- Implement automated configuration management with Ansible, Chef, or SaltStack.

- Partner with development teams to embed DevOps practices, architecture guidelines, and cloud-first design.

- Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence across DevOps, automation, and cloud teams.

- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and operational readiness assessments.
