Sonata Software - SAP BW/4HANA Consultant - ECC Systems

Role Overview :

Sonata Software is seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultant to design, build, and optimize next-generation enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in BW/4HANA modeling, data acquisition, and performance optimization, who are passionate about delivering scalable, high-performance analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop BW/4HANA data models including aDSOs, CompositeProviders, InfoObjects, and Open ODS Views

- Implement data acquisition and transformations from SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems using standard and custom extractors

- Develop and optimize AMDP-based transformations to leverage HANA push-down capabilities

- Create and maintain reporting artifacts using BEx Queries and frontend tools such as Analysis for Office (AFO)

- Build and optimize HANA Calculation Views (graphical and SQL Script) for advanced analytics scenarios

- Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Perform performance tuning, data load optimization, and troubleshooting of BW/4HANA objects

- Support testing, production deployments, and post-go-live stabilization

Required Skills & Experience

- 7 to 10+ years of experience in SAP BW / BW on HANA, with hands-on BW/4HANA project experience

- Strong expertise in BW/4HANA modeling concepts and LSA++ architecture

- Experience with AMDP, ABAP for BW, and transformation routines

- Hands-on experience with FI/CO, MM, SD, and Inventory Management data models

- Strong knowledge of BEx Query Designer and Analysis for Office (AFO)

- Experience with HANA SQL Script and Calculation Views

Good to Have

- Exposure to S/4HANA Embedded Analytics

- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

- Experience in BW on HANA to BW/4HANA migration projects
