Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements analysis and process re-engineering initiatives for the modernization of legacy workflow applications to .NET 8.0. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, Developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure business needs are effectively translated into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirements Analysis & Documentation :

- Lead business requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for modernization initiatives.

- Create and maintain Business, Functional, and Non-Functional Requirement documents with full traceability through the SDLC.

System Modernization & Workflow Re-engineering :

- Analyze existing system workflows, APIs, and integrations to identify optimization and automation opportunities aligned with .NET 8.0 architecture.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :

- Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure business objectives are technically feasible and aligned with modernization goals.

Quality Assurance & UAT :

- Partner with QA teams to define test scenarios, data validation rules, and acceptance criteria for manual and automated testing.

- Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring complete validation of business workflows.

DevOps Alignment :

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to understand CI/CD pipelines, environment dependencies, and deployment readiness from a business perspective.

Technical & Business Bridging :

- Translate complex business processes into actionable technical requirements and ensure adherence to architectural and compliance standards.

Reporting & Risk Management :

- Provide business insights, impact analysis, and documentation to support decision-making and mitigate migration risks.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of .NET Core / .NET 8.0 architecture, APIs, and workflow components.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or similar CI/CD tools.

- Working knowledge of QA processes including test case review, traceability matrix, and defect triage.

- Proven ability to work across multi-functional teams in an Agile or hybrid delivery model.

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

- Experience in application modernization, process optimization, or workflow automation preferred.
