Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer Non-Relational Database (NRD) with hands-on expertise in Azure Cosmos DB, .NET, and Azure Services. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable NoSQL database solutions to support high-performance, modern data-driven applications in the cloud.

Youll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cloud teams to build secure, reliable, and efficient data platforms leveraging serverless and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain NoSQL database solutions using Azure Cosmos DB for high-volume, distributed applications.

- Configure, monitor, and optimize Cosmos DB environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Integrate data services with .NET applications and Azure cloud components to deliver robust enterprise solutions.

- Implement serverless architectures leveraging Azure Functions, Event Grid, and Logic Apps.

- Ensure data security, backup, recovery, and compliance with enterprise policies.

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Automate operational tasks and improve system efficiency through DevOps and CI/CD practices.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and apply best practices for indexing, partitioning, and data modeling.

Required Skills:

Primary Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB data modeling, partitioning, indexing, and consistency management.

- Proficiency in .NET development for backend integration with data services.

- Solid understanding of Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Event Hub, Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.).

Secondary Skills :

- Experience in Serverless Architecture and microservices-based system design.

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and infrastructure automation tools.

- Knowledge of data security and compliance in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

Educational Background :

- B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc (Computer Science / IT) / MBA / MCA / B.Sc (Computers)

Experience :

- 58 years of professional experience in data engineering or backend development.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Azure Cosmos DB and Azure cloud ecosystem.
