We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in core GCP services, a strong background in infrastructure engineering, and the ability to work directly with customers to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Provide hands-on support for core GCP services including :

1. Google Compute Engine (GCE)

2. Persistent Disk Cloud Load Balancing

3. Cloud CDN Cloud DNS Cloud NAT Cloud VPN Cloud Armor IAM (Identity and Access Management)

4. Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for cloud environments.

- Configure and maintain secure network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve incidents efficiently.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.

- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application deployments.

- Ensure cloud environments comply with security best practices, governance policies, and compliance requirements.

- Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and customers.

- Communicate with customers through multiple channels (tickets, email, calls, meetings) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering professional, timely, and effective technical support.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

- 4+ years of experience in a technical role configuring and supporting infrastructure components (cloud and/or on-premises).

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with core Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management concepts. Experience supporting production environments and handling incident response.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications :

- Valid GCP Certifications such as: Professional Cloud Engineer Professional Cloud Architect Associate Cloud Engineer

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Git, monitoring, automation).

- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
