Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Senior Front End Developer with a profound understanding of front-end technologies to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of hands-on experience and expert-level proficiency in crafting highly performant and scalable front-end frameworks using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. This is not a run-of-the-mill development role; we are seeking an individual who can architect and engineer sophisticated, mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Front End Framework Development : Lead the design and implementation of advanced front-end frameworks, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and extensibility. You will be a key player in building a flexible solution that can meet the platform's evolving needs.

- Rapid Deployment and Enhancement : Demonstrate a proactive approach and a strong aptitude to rapidly contribute to the core buildout of our mission-critical platform. This includes working closely with the development team to drive continuous improvement and rapid iteration of front-end components.

- Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate complex requirements into intuitive and scalable user interfaces. You will be responsible for clearly communicating ideas, solutions, and challenges to cross-functional teams.

- Front End Architecture and Best Practices : Champion high-performance front-end architecture and ensure adherence to best practices across the team. You will stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the development process when appropriate.

- Cross-Browser & Protocol Compatibility : Ensure the platform's user interfaces are compatible across all major browsers. You will also be responsible for leveraging technologies like Websockets for real-time communication and adhering to all HTTP protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development.

- Deep understanding and expert-level proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

- Demonstrable expertise in crafting performant and scalable front-end architectures.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (UX/UI designers, product managers, backend developers).
