Job Description

Job Title : SAP OTC/SD Solution Architect


Exp : 8+


Location : Hyderabad


Key Responsibilities :


- SAP SD Configuration & Customization for Automotive


- Configure and maintain Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including sales order processing, pricing, credit checks, delivery, and billing tailored for vehicle sales and parts distribution


- Define and maintain automotive-specific pricing procedures, condition techniques, tax determination, and revenue recognition


- Implement and configure Variant Configuration (VC) for vehicle build options, product configurator, and BOM integration


- Configure Vehicle Management System (VMS) for vehicle tracking, VIN handling, and vehicle lifecycle management


- Set up and manage automotive dealer networks, direct sales channels, and fleet management within SAP


- Implement warranty claim processing and warranty parts return handling


- Configure partner determination, output determination, text determination, and incompletion procedures


- Manage availability check (ATP), transfer of requirements (TOR), and delivery scheduling


- Handle returns processing, intercompany sales, consignment sales, third-party sales, and subcontracting scenarios relevant to automotive supply chains


- Support and configure rebate processing, incentive management, and settlement management in S/4HANA Integration & Interfaces


- Work on SAP SD integration with MM (Procurement), FI (Billing & Accounting), WM (Warehouse Management), and PP (Production Planning) modules


- Configure intercompany and intra-company sales processes, ensuring smooth inter-module integration


- Implement EDI/IDoc processing for automotive industry standards.


- Configure integration with parts catalog systems and vehicle specification databases


- Work with ALE (Application Link Enabling) and IDoc Monitoring for error handling


- Set up interfaces with logistics providers and transportation management systems


- S/4HANA & Advanced Automotive Concepts


Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA SD functionalities, including :


- Business Partner Concept (Customer/Vendor Integration - CVI)


- Simplified Data Model (No VBFA for Document Flow, Unified Tables like ACDOCA)


- Fiori Applications for Sales Order Processing, Pricing, and Credit Management


- Billing and Settlement Management replacing SD Rebates


- Implement and configure Advanced ATP for complex vehicle production and delivery scheduling


- Set up and optimize automotive-specific product allocation processes


- Configure vehicle transportation management and delivery scheduling


- Perform data migration using SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, or BAPIs


Technical & Functional Documentation :


- Prepare functional specifications for automotive-specific enhancements, custom developments, and reports


- Work with ABAP developers to develop custom reports, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits for automotive requirements


- Perform unit testing, integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)


- Document automotive business processes, test scripts, and training materials for end-users


Support & Issue Resolution :


Provide L1/L2/L3 support for SD-related incidents and change requests


- Monitor and resolve issues related to vehicle pricing, invoicing, credit management, and EDI orders


- Analyze system logs, debug issues, and optimize system performance


- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to resolve critical issues


Nice to Have :


- Knowledge in SAP TM (Transportation Management) for vehicle logistics and distribution


- Experience with SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) for automotive import/export compliance


- Exposure to SAP FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) for Advanced Credit Management and automotive financing


- Knowledge of SAP BRF+ (Business Rule Framework) for output determination and automotive-specific business rules.
