Role Overview

As a Solution Architect SAP MM, you will define and lead the architecture of SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions across enterprise-wide transformation programs. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in SAP MM, strong integration knowledge across SAP and non-SAP systems, and leadership in strategic planning and solution delivery. You will help shape the digital supply chain landscape for our global operations, ensuring scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions.

Job Requirements :

Education & Certifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- SAP Certified Application Associate Procurement (preferred).

- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification (preferred).

Experience :

- 9 - 12 years of SAP MM implementation and architecture experience, with 5+ years as a Solution Architect or equivalent leadership role.

- Proven experience in global rollouts, upgrades, and transformation programs.

- Strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and integration with modules such as SD, PP, WM, and external systems.

Essential Skills :

- Expertise in SAP MM (procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, vendor management).

- Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and Fiori interfaces.

- Strong integration knowledge (IDocs, BAPIs, OData, PI/PO, CPI).

- Hands-on experience in custom enhancements, interfaces, and workflows.

- Strong skills in solution blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, and documentation.

- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and agile models.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with SAP BTP, API-based integrations, and event-driven architectures.

- Knowledge of international trade, customs, and compliance.

- Exposure to transportation analytics and freight audit solutions.

- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and master data governance.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Strategy & Planning :

- Define the SAP MM architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise digital goals.

- Lead solution design workshops with stakeholders and functional leads.

- Evaluate new SAP technologies to future-proof MM capabilities.

- Contribute to enterprise architecture governance and platform selection.

Delivery & Execution :

- Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM solutions.

- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

- Provide technical leadership, issue resolution, and quality assurance.

- Document solution designs and configurations for audit and support.

Support & Enablement :

- Establish design standards, reusable assets, and best practices.

- Support platform governance, release management, and lifecycle planning.

People Leadership :

- Mentor SAP MM consultants and foster a culture of continuous learning.

- Lead architecture forums to ensure collaboration and alignment.
