We are looking for a highly experienced and versatile Solutions Architect with 1215+ years of experience specializing in the QAD MFG/PRO ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both the technical and functional aspects of QAD, acting as a key leader in designing, implementing, and optimizing system solutions. This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that our ERP system is a strategic asset for the organization.

Main Responsibilities :

- Solution Design & Strategy : Architect and design system solutions to improve or integrate QAD MFG/PRO with other business systems. Develop comprehensive strategies for system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.

- ERP Expertise : Serve as the subject matter expert for QAD ERP, with extensive knowledge of core modules, including :

- Finance : General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.

- Manufacturing : Production Orders, Bills of Materials, and work orders.

- Sales & Distribution : Sales Orders, Customer Management, and Shipping.

- Inventory : Warehouse Management, Item Master, and Cycle Counting.

Integration Leadership : Lead the integration efforts between QAD and external systems. This includes hands-on experience with :

- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)

- QAD Integration Platform

- Progress 4GL

- Web Services and APIs

- Implementation & Upgrades : Manage and oversee the end-to-end implementation and upgrade projects for QAD, whether for on-premise or cloud-based deployments.

- Technical Leadership : Act as a technical leader and mentor for project teams, providing guidance and support to resolve complex system issues.

- Business Alignment : Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into robust and scalable technical solutions.

- System Customization : Drive system customization and configuration to align the ERP functionality with specific company business processes, ensuring a seamless fit and optimal performance.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 12 - 15+ years of professional experience in an IT solutions architect or senior consultant role, with a strong focus on QAD MFG/PRO.

- Technical Acumen : Deep technical knowledge of the QAD ERP system, including its architecture, database structure, and underlying technologies like Progress 4GL.

- Functional Expertise : A comprehensive understanding of the business processes supported by QAD's core modules (Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, Inventory).

- Integration Skills : Proven track record of successful integrations with various systems using EDI, APIs, and QAD's native integration tools.

- Communication : Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business leaders.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues.

- Leadership : Experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity, guiding teams through complex projects and technical challenges.
