Solution Architect - Microservices & Cloud

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Solutions Architect - Microservices & Cloud to define and own the overall architecture for API-led and microservices-based enterprise platforms.

This role will drive architecture strategy, cloud architecture design, and governance standards for large-scale backend platforms while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance, particularly in banking-grade environments.

- Define and own the overall system architecture for API-driven and microservices-led solutions.

- Architect headless platforms integrated with BPM/workflow engines.

- Define the enterprise microservices strategy, including :

1. Backend for Frontend (BFF) microservices

2. Domain-driven microservices

3. Integration and orchestration frameworks

- Establish enterprise API governance, standards, versioning, and lifecycle management.

- Design AWS cloud architecture ensuring scalability, resilience, and high availability.

- Ensure banking-grade security, compliance, and audit readiness across systems.

- Define microservices communication patterns, messaging strategies, and service boundaries.

- Drive decisions on service orchestration vs choreography.

- Establish caching strategies and distributed data management patterns.

- Guide engineering teams on Spring Boot best practices and microservices architecture patterns.

- Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, and code reviews.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering leadership.

- Mentor senior developers and ensure architectural discipline across teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture and API-led design.

- Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Java-based backend systems.

- Experience with BPM / Workflow engines such as Camunda, Activiti, or Flowable.

- Strong experience designing systems on AWS Cloud including :

2. EC2

3. EKS / Kubernetes

4. RDS

5. IAM

- Strong understanding of :

1. BFF architecture

2. Service orchestration vs choreography

3. Distributed caching strategies

4. API security (OAuth2, JWT, token-based authentication)

- Experience designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant enterprise platforms.

- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and event-driven architectures.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
