About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect Kubernetes to lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud-native applications and containerized solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, cloud architecture, and microservices, and the ability to guide teams in deploying highly available, scalable, and secure applications.

This role requires collaboration with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to architect solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Kubernetes-based architectures for microservices, monolithic application migrations, and hybrid-cloud deployments.

- Define cluster strategies, multi-cluster architectures, and namespace strategies for scalability and high availability.

- Recommend container orchestration patterns and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling updates).

- Ensure security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

- Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.

- Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and monitoring/observability tools.

- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and auto-scaling architectures.

- Evaluate and recommend cloud-native tools and services for logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.

- Work with DevOps teams to create automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or Tekton.

- Define IaC strategies using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision clusters and cloud infrastructure.

- Implement GitOps practices for cluster configuration management and application deployment.

- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, guiding architecture decisions and evaluating trade-offs.

- Develop reference architectures, best practices, and reusable design patterns.

- Conduct workshops, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical demos to validate solutions.

- Mentor and guide engineering teams in adopting Kubernetes, cloud-native patterns, and DevSecOps practices.

- Ensure observability, monitoring, and logging across clusters using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, or cloud-native solutions.

- Define security and compliance standards for containerized workloads.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 1015 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in Kubernetes architecture and containerized solutions.

- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments and hybrid-cloud strategies.

- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

- Expertise in cloud-native design patterns, service mesh, observability, and container security.

- Experience in mentoring, guiding, and leading technical teams
