Job Description

Practice : Application Engineering

Purpose :

Own the end-to-end technical solution and pricing model for custom software, QA, and Agile transformation projects. The Solutions Architect defines architecture, effort, and cost that align with client requirements and delivery capabilities.

Core Responsibilities :

- Lead solution architecture for AppDev, QA, and modernization engagements.

- Build LOE and pricing models with task-based effort breakdowns (US/IN mix, role-based rates).

- Partner with Proposal Manager and Practice Leader to shape technical responses for RFPs and SOWs.

- Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and automation accelerators.

- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

- Mentor delivery teams on Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience estimating and scoping software projects in Agile or hybrid models.

- Familiarity with rate cards, blended cost models, and proposal-level pricing.

- Proficiency with modern full-stack frameworks (Java, .NET, React, Node.js).

- Working knowledge of cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Strong communication and presentation skills for pre-sales collaboration.

Experience & Qualifications :

- 10 to 15 years total experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years in architecture or pre-sales solutioning.

- Proven experience leading application modernization, Agile transformation, or DevOps enablement programs.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Scrum/Agile (CSM, SAFe) desirable.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.
