Solution Architect - Backend & Frontend Technologies

About the Role :

We are seeking a Solution Architect with 7 to 9 years of experience to design and lead the implementation of scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions across our technology stack. As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in aligning business goals with technology strategies, providing architectural leadership across projects, and ensuring technical excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade applications, integrating backend, frontend, and third-party systems.

- Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks that support scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Guide development teams in architectural decisions and provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC.

- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and architectural governance across projects.

- Create architectural diagrams, solution documentation, and technical specifications.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, product managers, business analysts, and QA.

- Lead PoCs (proof of concepts) to validate new technology approaches or frameworks.

- Ensure solutions adhere to non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security, compliance, availability).

- Provide mentorship to senior engineers and contribute to architectural community of practice.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 to 9 years of total IT experience, with at least 3+ years in architecture or solution design roles.

- Strong hands-on experience in backend technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Node.js, etc.).

- Deep understanding of architectural patterns such as Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Serverless, and Monolith-to-Microservices transformation.

- Expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and enterprise systems.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architecture.

- Solid knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), caching layers, and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring/logging frameworks.

- Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, JWT), and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in domain-driven design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.

- Prior experience working in industries such as Fintech, Healthcare, E-commerce, or SaaS.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect.

- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams or working in a technical consulting capacity.
