Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Design & Strategy :

- Interface with business stakeholders to meticulously gather requirements and translate them into a coherent IT solution architecture.

- You will be responsible for making informed architectural decisions and driving the implementation of these solutions.

Standardization & Documentation :

- Develop and modify standardized infrastructure solutions to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization.

This includes creating and maintaining detailed infrastructure blueprints and all related technical documentation.

Implementation & Hands-on Support :

- Take a hands-on approach during key implementation phases, configuring systems and providing technical guidance to the team as required to ensure successful deployment.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration :

- Lead the development of innovative solutions while collaborating with various teams to ensure architectural integrity and alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 20+ years of professional experience in an IT role, with a strong background in solution architecture.

- Azure Expertise : Proficient in Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings, including a deep understanding of services like Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure App Services.

- Virtualization & Networking : Extensive experience with VMware and Windows deployment and configuration.

- Must have strong knowledge of Azure Networking, including firewalls, gateways, load balancers, and SD-WAN.

- Core Technical Skills : Proven ability in developing standardized infrastructure solutions and creating detailed blueprints.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with storage solutions from vendors like Dell (e.g, Unity and PowerStore).

- Hands-on experience with File Services technologies such as CTERA and Windows DFS.

- Familiarity with Azure Backup and Veeam for data protection.

- Strong on-premises networking experience, particularly with Cisco products.

- Knowledge of ITSM & monitoring tools and experience with service management processes (IM, PM, CM).

- Exposure to digital workplace solutions, such as O365
