Solution Architect - Application Development

Description :

Purpose :

- Design and implement scalable, high-performing application solutions across custom software, API, QA, and Agile DevOps engagements.

- Own the end-to-end technical solution and pricing model for custom software, QA, and Agile transformation projects.

- The Solutions Architect partners with Practice Leaders and Delivery Teams to translate business needs into technical architectures that balance performance, agility, and cost and work cross-functionally to define architecture, effort, and cost that align with client requirements and delivery capabilities.

Core Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end solution design for AppDev, QA, Agile transformation, and modernization projects.

- Build LOE and pricing models with task-based effort breakdowns (US/IN mix,role-based rates).

- Develop architecture blueprints, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.

- Support RFPs and pre-sales solutioning with estimates, LOE models, and technical narratives.

- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and DevOps best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automation, and testing frameworks.

- Partner with Proposal Manager and Practice Leader to shape technical responses for RFPs and SOWs.

- Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and automation accelerators.

- Mentor development and QA engineers on modern tools, languages, and agile delivery.

Required Skills :

- Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

- Strong experience estimating and scoping software projects in Agile or hybrid models.

- Familiarity with rate cards, blended cost models, and proposal-level pricing.

- Proficiency with modern full-stack frameworks (Java, .NET, React, Node.js).

- Experience in one or more stacks (Java, .NET, Python, React, Angular, Node.js).

- Proficiency in microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and API design.

- Familiarity with cloud-native app development (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong estimation, solution costing, and proposal-writing skills.
